Contra tudo aquilo em que eu acreditava, o Porto eliminou a Juventus da prova mais importante da UEFA, mesmo tendo, jogado 60 dos 120 minutos jogados com menos um jogador. O Taremi fez asneira e foi expulso e o Porto quase que era eliminado por causa desse seu erro.
Não é que o Porto tenha jogado mais ou melhor que a Juventus, mas defendeu-se bem e aproveitou dois livres directos para meter dois golos, o que junto com a vitória da primeira mão lhes garantiu a passagem. Isto é bom para o Porto, do ponto de vista financeiro e de reputação, e é bom para Portugal porque nos projecta para cima no ranking da UEFA.
A arbitragem foi relativamente má, mais até para o lado dos italianos que dos portugueses, mas isso agora não interessa nada, a sentença do árbitro não tem apelo nem recurso. Veremos agora quem sai na rifa, como próximo adversário.
